Cost of Quality (CoQ) in Manufacturing

Course Overview

This 1 Day course covers delivery of high-quality products while controlling costs for long-term success of any organization. The Cost of Quality (CoQ) is a vital foundation that helps manufacturers identify quality-related issues —both tangible and intangible—and how these issue-related costs affect customer satisfaction, profitability, market share, competitiveness, and sustainability. The bottom line is to design prevention at product and process levels.

This course is specifically designed for professionals in any manufacturing sector, providing practical tools and techniques to reduce the total cost of quality. Participants will explore the four major categories of CoQ—Prevention, Appraisal, Internal Failure, and External Failure—with real-life case studies and data analysis techniques where appropriate. The aim is to transform from firefighting mode to industry accepted best CoQ model.
