Overview
This 2.5 day instructor-led online Preventive Controls for Human Food course is designed for mandatory Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) or for anyone interested in understanding/enhancing requirements of the FSMA rule/SFCR Canada and how to develop a Food Safety Plan that meets those requirements.
This course is aligned with FSMA/FDA and SFCR/CIFA compliant. This practical and smartly designed course enables you with the skill set and knowledge to ensure safe manufacturing, processing, packing, and storage/distribution of food products for human consumption in the United States and Canada.
The food safety plan is developed and implemented by conducting hazard analysis and implementing risk-based preventive controls in accordance with FDA/SFCR requirements.

Certification
- Participants who successfully demonstrate competence during this course will receive a “Certificate of Attainment” covering the following knowledge competency units issued by JSA Inc.
- PCQI: Preventive Controls for Human Food
- JSA Inc will issue Exemplar Global PCQI certificate after each candidate has demonstrated competency equivalent to Exemplar Global approved module examination.
- Participants not deemed competent are issued “Certificates of Attendance” and will be given opportunity for re-examination using an interview methodology.
